I’ve only been listening to Son House today, and especially his first session in 1930. This 78 of Clarksdale Moan / Mississippi County Farm Blues was found in 2005 and remains the only copy known in existence. Both cuts are beautiful, but Mississippi in particular is also an incredibly groovy bit of stuff indeed. Listen here.
